Norway's capital, Oslo, has only about 500,000 inhabitants, though in the whole metropolitan area (incl. Akershus county with 470,000 inh.) there are about a million.

- rolling stock: SL-79 (Duewag; Strømmens Værksted; 22 m); SL-95 (Ansaldo; 33 m, low-floor); SL-18 (CAF Urbos)

19-01-2014: Line 13 extended from Jar to Bekkestua sharing metro tracks (skipping Ringstabekk station)
04-10-2020: Lines 13 and 19 redirected via Björvika - Oslo Hospital on a new 0.7 km link, which replaces the old line from St. Halvards plass to Jernbanetorget along Schweigaards gate
