electric operation on Seaford Line since 23 Feb 2014 (when also the newly-built
Noarlunga - Seaford section opened) - track gauge 1,600 mm; several level crossings Adelaide - Glenelg Tram - 15 km - mostly on its own right-of-way, except through Adelaide city centre (reserved lane) and Glenelg town centre (on-street) - in 14 Oct 2007, extended from Victoria Sq to City West (1.6 km) - 2.8 km western extension from City West to Entertainment Centre opened 22 March 2010 - City Tram Extension along North Terrace to East End with three stops, plus a short spur to Festival Plaza opened on 13 Oct 2018 (see project presentation video below!) [Project Website] - operated with Bombardier Flexity Classic low-floor cars and Alstom Citadis (ex-Madrid)
